Founder & Audiologist
Dr. Marni Novick, Au.D.
Due to personal experience with her own hearing loss, Dr. Marni Novick decided to pursue a professional career in Audiology. She received her Master’s degree in Audiology from The University of Iowa in 2000 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in 2004.
Dr. Novick specialized in hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management and helping children with auditory processing disorders.

Dr. Novick is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Doctors of Audiology. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Audiology and holds certificates in Tinnitus Management and Clinical Preceptorship.
Community Involvement
Dr. Novick has given many lectures on various topics regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, tinnitus and auditory processing disorders within her community. She enjoys mentoring future Doctor of Audiology Students and believes this is her way of giving back to the profession.
Dr. Novick has been a clinical supervisor for audiology students from The University of the Pacific and is looking forward to welcoming students from the new Doctor of Audiology programs opening within the state of California.She resides in Palo Alto with her husband and two children.
Our Staff
Dr. Patty Anderson
Dr. Patty Anderson is a skilled and compassionate audiologist with a deep personal connection to her field, shaped by her own experiences with hearing loss. She is committed to providing personalized care, focusing on improving patients' quality of life through auditory rehabilitation, counseling, and the treatment of sound disorders like tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia. Dr. Anderson also specializes in fitting custom hearing products for hearing conservation and in-ear monitors for audiophiles, ensuring a tailored approach to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Anderson graduated with accolades as a Doctor of Audiology from the University of the Pacific, after earning her honors degree in public health from San Francisco State University and completing a post-baccalaureate in speech-language pathology at CSU Northridge. She completed her residency at Silicon Valley Hearing in Los Gatos, CA, where she continues her clinical work today. Dr. Anderson is an active member of the California Academy of Audiology (CAA), the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She also holds multiple certifications, including the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Music Audiology, Tinnitus Management (CH-TM), and Clinical Preceptorship (CH-AP).
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Anderson is passionate about advancing the field of audiology. She mentors students, lectures on specialty topics, and contributes to various audiology committees and conferences. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys a variety of hobbies, including swing dancing, gardening, crafting and archery. She values spending quality time with her husband, family, and beloved cat, and finds joy in a farm-to-table lifestyle, drawing from her rural upbringing to grow and raise her own food, preparing delicious meals from scratch.

Julia Perez
Julia joined Silicon Valley Hearing, Inc. in November 2020. She has over 15 years of experience in the medical field and is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and creative writing.
